well the nominations are finally out and here are my thoughts on the comedy writing directing ans supporting acting categories. It is always easier to talk about the mistakes made by the academy so don't be fooled I think they did a pretty good job this year.

2009 Emmy Nomination Predictions: Lead Acting in a Comedy
CORRECTION: Contrary to the comments made in the above video David Duchovney DID in fact make the top 10 list last year. That information means that his chances are signifigantly greater than what I have stated. However I would keep him in the same place as Parsons has hype and Braff is a past nominiee in the final season for a 2 time best comedy series nominiee. However with showtime's great campaigns all 3 of the men are just about even in this race (it will be exciting to see who gets those 2 slots.
